I am an artist, educator and flower grower and designer in Durham, NC.
I provide fresh, bee friendly arrangements and botanical designs for locations and events. I can work within your budget and vision to provide organically grown/sustainably sourced seasonal arrangements, installations and bouquets. I take an artistic, individual approach and create designs based on synthesizing the client's venue and vision with current gifts from nature. All events are eco-friendly and provide the recycling and composting of containers and materials used. Designs can be derived from things such as: elegant and natural cascading forms, native NC farm and field, Ikebana /Asian inspired simplicity. Beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, table details and more are all possible , using seasonal, local and sustainable flowers and plants.
All plants and flowers are chemical free, seasonal and local, so designs vary based on availability. I enjoy creating something individual and special for each client, the occasion and location. Bringing beauty and nature with sustainable sources for all to enjoy. For very large events, I partner with local growers and businesses like Pine State Flowers, Sassafras Fork Farm, Water Dog Farm and Springforth Farms to provide the highest quality locally sourced materials, grown with respect to our planet.I would like to thank Cocoa Cinnamon, The Makery, Soigne Events, and The Open Art Society and Pine State Flowers for giving me the encouragement to pursue flower design at new levels.
